This page is without doubt the zaniest and most fun page I have ever done … bar none!
This photo of my younger son was slightly closeup so there is a bit of a fun distortion to it that gives it an off the page (haha excuse the pun) look. Although I loved the shot, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it at first.
Then I saw this template by Jodi Patterson when I was on her Creative Team and I knew that I had to have a go at it with this photo. I think it works kinda nicely and the addition of the scrollwork style flourish with Jodi’s beautiful vintage photo frame and papers just adds to the overall eclectic feel.
I did some careful photo enhancements and used the clone stamp tool as well as the dodge tool to clean up the image background and remove a few scratch marks from my son’s photo. He HATES this photo; on the other hand I totally adore it.
