My Brother, Ivan
I created this page two years after my Brother was lost.
This is an excruciatingly painful page about the feeling I had about my Brother’s suicide.
It is a page that I created as part of my way of healing from the tragedy.
It is a page about trying to understand how it was possible that he felt so totally alone that he saw no other choice.
It is a page about the devastation that suicide causes for those left behind.
Always in my heart.
Post-Processing & Photo Manipulations
This photograph was taken in my Brother’s entertaining lounge at His home.
Unfortunately the very top of his hair had been cropped from the shot when taken. So, with some judicious photoshopping, I carefully added some roundness to the top of his hair and filled in the background so that the photo and my brother’s smile could really shine.
I also ran a filter over it to sharpen it up and smooth out some of the grainy noise from the poor lighting and flash.
Journaling
I would prefer not to type it out again. Rest in Peace my darling Brother.
