This layout was a special creation for my next ownWORD – last year my 2022 New Years ownWORD was KINDNESS … I learned that the true essence and power of kindness is in its existence and persistence in the face of the human weakness of unkindness, of cruelty. A powerful year of learning.
This page is, of course, a Digital Scrapbook layout encapsulating my special intentional focus word for the year ahead, this page is a stunning testament to minimalist presentation of my focus word, but beautifully decorated in a soft icy blue and grey palette artfully punctuated with a simple studded silk flower in black and a highly stylised compass-points motif brush nonetheless.
Sonos in the fifth year running, I look forward to this process of digiscrap creation ~ I think it fair to say that I have created a personal tradition. 
Absorbing the life lessons of 2023 and how life has helped me to fully appreciate the power of kindness, now I am ready to work on my next ownWORD. So for next year, 2024 my ownWORD is SVELTE.
This time next year, I plan on posting that I bought my own family home during 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 … please Lord, help me to make it happen..
