The Blessing of Life’s Gifts

The Blessing of Life’s Gifts - An ‘All About Me’ Digital Scrapbook Layout created as an affirmation with major use of negative space.

A fun All About Me page that I created to remind myself that life is good and we are all blessed with gifts to enable us to thrive.

For this page, I wanted to produce a muted yet lux feel to it hence the judicious use of the golden bracket element, the flourish styled brush and the classic black and white photo conversion and specialty light filtering applied to the photograph. Additionally, I opted to retain a wide open white space, creating a field as counter point and future looking focus to the support the photo’s vision.

All of life is supported by love and so the use of the decorative brush behind the photo is a heartfelt reminder to self that life’s gifts are best served from the heart with the little bow in the top corner – like a bow in my hair – a reminder to retain child-like delight in all things.
